Ingredients

To make this dish you need the following items adjust them according to your quantities I will mention the regular quantities you can feel free to make as many changes as you want because cooking is experimenting😉.
  • A cup of sabudana
  • Roasted peanuts as per your choice
  • Ghee or oil (2 spoons )
  • Cumin seeds 
  • Green Chilies (add some spice to the day)
  • Grated Ginger
  • A peeled Potato
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice
  • Coriander Leaves



Instructions

Step 1: Soak and Prepare Sabudana

  1. Rinse Sabudana: Take a bowl and put the sabudana in it and wash them with the water thoroughly. This step ensures that you remove the extra starch and durt from the sabudhana which helps to prevent the stickiness of sabudhana.
  2. Soak Sabudana: Now soak these for about 4-6 hours so they become pumped(💪). Then drain the water.

Step 2: Cook the Khichdi

  1. Heat Ghee/Oil: In a pan heat ghee.
  2. Temper Spices: Now time to add color I mean taste to our dish so let's add  cumin seeds and let them splutter ahh that tiny explotions now add some chopped green chilies and grated ginger, and let them heat for few seconds.
  3. Cook Potatoes: Now add the potatoes and cook until you see yourself in it ( I mean the golden color cause you are goldy)
  4. Add Sabudana: Add the soaked sabudana, ground peanuts, salt, and to the pan. Mix Mix Mix.
  5.  Cook Until Translucent: Now you are almost done just cook this mixture for about 5-7 minutes so that the sabudhana cooked thoroghly. 

Step 3: Garnish and Serve

  1. Add Lemon Juice: Ahh finally done let's add some tangyness to it so squeeze a lemon over the dish and mix well. 
  2. Garnish: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
