How to Make Easy Chicken Fry at Home

Hey Cookeazy family! Hope you guys are doing well and are you ready to spice up your snack game? Cause today we brough the the easiest way to make your super duper delicious chicken fry at home. No matter you are a newbie to cooking you can do this because this recipe is that easy for you to make. So, without wasting any more time let's get cooking!

Ingredients:

- 500g chicken (boneless or with bones, your choice!)

- 1 cup curd

- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1 teaspoon garam masala

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- Salt to taste

- Oil for frying

- Fresh coriander for garnish (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken:

First things first, wash the chicken pieces and let them dry. Because we don’t want any extra moisture messing up our fry, do we?

2. Marinate the Chicken:

In a big bowl, mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Toss in the chicken pieces and give it a good mix. Make sure each piece is well coated with the spicy marinade. Cover the bowl and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. If you’ve got time, let it marinate longer (overnight in the fridge is awesome).

3. Heat the Oil:

Pour oil into a frying pan and heat it up on medium flame. To check if the oil is ready, drop a small piece of marinated chicken in the oil. If it sizzles and rises to the top, you’re good to go!

4. Fry the Chicken:

Carefully add the marinated chicken pieces into the hot oil. Don’t overcrowd the pan; fry in batches if needed. Fry till the chicken turns golden brown and crispy on the outside. This usually takes about 8-10 minutes per batch.

5. Drain the Excess Oil:

Once done, use a slotted spoon to take the chicken out and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. This helps soak up any extra oil.

6. Garnish and Serve:

If you like a bit of freshness, sprinkle some chopped coriander over the hot chicken fry. Serve it with a side of mint chutney or ketchup. And there you have it—delicious homemade chicken fry ready to be devoured!

So, next time you’re craving some tasty, crispy chicken fry, skip the takeout and make it at home! Trust me, once you nail this recipe, you’ll be the star chef in your squad.

Happy cooking, and stay hungry! 🍗💥
